- Combine Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and oil until smooth and well incorporated.
- Make the Batter: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently fold together using a rubber spatula. Mix just until combined—overmixing will result in tough bread. A few small lumps are fine.
- Prepare the Cinnamon Swirl: In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, melted butter, and pinch of salt until it resembles wet sand.
- Create the Swirl Effect: Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle two-thirds of the cinnamon mixture evenly over the batter. - Apply the Glaze: Once the bread has cooled for about 15 minutes but is still slightly warm, drizzle the glaze over the top, allowing it to cascade down the sides.
Notes
For an extra-rich flavor, substitute vegetable oil with melted butter. Sifting the flour ensures a lighter texture. If using gluten-free flour, add ½ teaspoon xanthan gum for better structure.
